6 hole vs 5 hole ???

I went rearend shopping today and 99% was 6 hole. When was 5 hole used?

do you mean lug? if so '71 is when 5 lug became the dominant bolt pattern on the 1/2 ton, 5 lug on pre '70 1/2 ton trucks are hard to come by, but they do exist.

70 and older NEVER came in 5 lug. They were ALL 6 lug.
