The firewall color with factory white 2-tone would look great imho.

That would look great. When ever I paint mine I was thinking two tone blue & silver metal flake.

IMHO baby blue and white are beautiful on these trucks, though I am a little biased, here are some pics of mine fresh from paint. This is the original blue from 66 and GM code 10 white.

Wow that looks GREAT. Its like the picture thats been in my mind. Do you have interior pics? If I use the BB/Wht colors Im considering painting the lower interior all blue, and doing the center door panels white as well as the dash.

Last night I had colors going through my head. Anyone ever seen a bright orange one. May be too crazy?

Here's a few. The top two are 63s, and the bottom one is a 66.

Re: Best color or color combos for my '63?

wow i like them both alot. the blue and white looks classic and timeless but that orange looks great. Also a metalic copper would look cool with a black or silver metal flack top. if your going for a custem look. i also like red. or even a dark metalic green with a white top. or even a yelolow. wow you have alot of choices!!!!!

Gutted is good. The way its painted is what interests me. Is it all white inside top to bottom? Im kickin around having the paint lines follow the exterior if that makes sense?
Anotherwords the inside of the door would be white from the window up, and it would be Bblue below.

Re: Best color or color combos for my '63?

My '64 is tellow inside and out. Due for another paint job next year and it will be yellow again.

I had a '70 that was painted orange and it got alot of attention.

I like the two-tone on a restored , stock truck but a street rod should have solid paint. just my .02 ( and that ain't much)

Heres one that was at a local show that I admired. Im going for a similar look with gate, r-roll pan, trim ect.

I think it has a uncanney resemblence to my truck.......Dont you?
