1972 Bed Bushings?
Does anyone know where I can buy a 67-72 Fleetside bed bushing kit? I converted to a fleetside and it doesnt have any bushings.

I don't believe 67-72's had a bushing between the frame and bed. If they did it would have created havoc with the taillamps ground. This is a bad enough problem without them. LOL You could make your own but I would for sure run a ground strap between the bed and frame. But I realize just because I have never ran across them on any truck I have worked on or parted doesn't mean they never existed.

The bed should be bolted directly to the frame, at least my 72 was. No bushings...

yep i agree no bushings for any 67-72 bed. if you really want i sopose you could put a peice of bicycle intertube between the frame and bed but it's probably just a waist of time.

I bought a bushing kit from a board member and it came with some thin rubber pads for the bed, is that what you are talking about?
