Disassembly of Front A-Arms
I am getting ready to disassemble the front A-arms on a 1968 Chevy C10. They are rusted and gunked up. I have heard horror stories about trying to get these things off. Any hints. Also, when I am rebuilding them, what are the most important things to replace?
Thanks, 1968ChevyPrerunner |

Re: Disassembly of Front A-Arms
Soak them in liquid wrench or ww40 or something. Use a powerfull air tool. If you are doing the bottom be carefull not to strip the threads on the A arms. I might be easier to leave them attached to the frame while removing the nuts. ( less for you to hold onto that way)

Re: Disassembly of Front A-Arms
I dont think I would have got mine apart without a torch. A little heat on the bolts will make life much easier.
