Ladder Bars...

I'm thinking of getting a ladder bar setup for the rear of my 59 apache. Anybody have pics of a setup? If you have one, what do you think of it? The PO said that the truck when he bought it had a setup on it but he cut it out.

Just trying to figure out what I need to do. BTW if it makes any difference it has a f@rd 9" out back...Thx

Re: Ladder Bars...

My '67 is a 9" on air ride and ladder bars. It's OK. The ride is REAL nice for a truck and I'm running a CPP rear sway bar (installed backwards), from the rear of the frame forward to the axle. If I was to start again (I already had the ladder bars and no money for anything else the first time), I'd 4 bar it with the rest of the setup the same. I feel the rear suspension would work a little smoother and have better flexibility. As it is, with the large front and rear sway bars, 5/7 drop , and the rear Firestone sleeve bags, it rides pretty darn nice and handles REAL well. Any other questions, give me a shout.
