Need to fix broken off bolts in my hard top

OK, here is the deal, when I took my double wall hard top for the summer almost all the bolts on the passengers side snapped off due to rust. Has anyone tried to repair or replace these things. Other then the bolts the top is very nice with a near perfect hatch. I am hoping to save it. Thank in advance for any help !!!

About the only thing you can do is to drill out the rusted bolts, re-tab the holes for new bolts--might use stainless and some lube to prevent re-rust.

Re: Need to fix broken off bolts in my hard top

I had to replace the "nuts" inside the top because of broken bolts. I drilled a 3/4" hole, drilled the top of the rivets holding the "nuts" and then removed them through the hole I cut. They are not really nuts, it's a piece of 3/8 by 3/16 piece of steel that is threaded for a 9/16 bolt in the center. It's easy to make. I think the dimension are correct, it's been awhile since I did it. In the future use anti seize compound. You will need to fix the 3/4 holes you make in the top but that's easy too.
