Engine Problem

I have had this problem, and I can't put my finger on it.

It usually happens right after I start it up and begin driving. I will be at a red light, and when it turns green, I'll push the accelerator. It then just plain dies, then starts right back up, without me having to do anything. It might do this once, or a couple of times.

I'm not flooring it, just normal driving conditions. Please ask for more descriptions because I don't really know how to describe it.

Re: Engine Problem

is it warmed up or cold? ever tried lifting off the throttle? try fast pumping of the throttle,( not to floor , just slght back and forth to make accelerator pump work) choke may be miss adjusted, accelerator pump may be worn. Also check all the basics,i.e. timing, filters, state of tune. can you drive through it? like mashing throttle?
