Corvette wheel in 72 C10
I picked up a 3 spoke rally wheel on the cheap and now trying to find out how to adapt it to my stock stearing column. Let me know if you have any pointers?

Apparently a 69 Camaro hub kit will work on our columns, and I was told that a 68 Camaro hub will work as well, and match the size of the column better. That being said, I mentioned this on the board awhile ago and IIRC someone had tried the 68 hub and ecountered problems. Hopefully they will chime in and set the record straight.

I have never had a problem using the 69+ hubs (genuine GM) that I find at the junk yard. The 68 Camaro hub that I bought (a repro) has issues. I don't know if the issues are because it is a 68 or because it is a repop. It doesn't seem to go down on the shaft far enough to fit nicely.
The 69+ hubs are only a little bigger in diameter at the bottom. When installed they are about 1/8th inch larger than the column (hardly noticeable). Hubs are readily available from Camaro or Chevelle repop vendors along with the horn contact and center cap.

I have an extra hub for a Camaro if anyone would like it for the cost of shipping. I don't know what year it is but I could find out specific dimensions if needed. Years ago I bought a Grant wheel that had been on a Camaro and the hub came with it. I have NO desire to put a Grant wheel on MY Camaro!
