Quick question , if i'm changing from sbc w/t350 to bbc w/t400 is the trans crossmember the same ?? And in same location ?

yes it's the same but the location may be different. the nice thing though is it's easy to move. pull the bolts and give it a whack to slide it to the new location. heck if your good you can push the auto cross back far enough to clear the 400 when you put it in then just slide it into positon and bolt it up. this eliminates the struggle to remove and reinstall the auto crossmember.

there should be holes already in the frame for your new tranny
