Where and what to buy??
I am looking to buy airbags for my 72 longbed (2wd) I want to go as low as possible with the bags, I have 3 inch front drop spindles and springs in the rear. Any sugestions on where to buy, size of bag and some part #'s would be very helpful. Thanks Greg

Re: Where and what to buy??
I'd buy from ***************** You can put your own kit together on their website and pick and choose exactly what you want/need for your particular setup. I'm running Slam Specialties RE7 bags front/rear, (8) 3/8" SMC valves, 3/8" line, (2) 3-gal tanks, (2) viair 380C compressors, and SD's front upper bag plates and lower cups cut down to 1/2". For fittings, I'd spend the extra dough and get the push-to-connect DOT fittings. They will make your life a lot easier and you will reduce your chance of leaks greatly, especially if you have no experience with air systems.

I am running Slam Specialties RS72 front and RS62 rear. I would also say you are in good hands dealing with Suicide Doors. The guys there have been very helpful and the prices are great.
I went with all push connect fittings and they are great. I had to remount my valves and it the push connects made it way too easy. |

Re: Where and what to buy??
it depends on how you want the truck to lay out. with a simple bolt on setup the truck will not lay frame. it will involve some extensive cutting an fab work. either way, suicidedoors is the way to go. if you give them a call theyll fill you in on the different options you have avail.
