transmission problem need help?

I need help with a transmission problem when I put it in gear it doesn't go into gear and it doesn't load the engine up either but if I put in neutral it will roll and won't row in park so the linkage is fine and I checked it also. The torque converter is turning so no sheared off bolts. What could be the problem? the truck ran fine the night before and now it won't.

Atleast it happened in my garage.

What is the level of your transmission fluid, when it gets real low it will not go into gear, my th350 is a sive, so I have had that happen a few times on me. Check that first with the tranny warm and running. If the level is fine then you got worse problems. You might also want to post your question in the engine and drivetrain section on the board.
