I am looking for a video of some fast bags on a c10. If anybody has one or has seen one plz post it here. I am thinking about 1/2" valves and would like to know how fast they are. Thanks.

Re: Video

I don't have any video, but I can tell you my valves are so fast there is no adjustment when you hit the down switch. It dumps straight to the ground before the can close.

I got my dump adjusters to put on this weekend, should be cool.

That first video is from Totally polished.com. they used to have a huge video archive and that was one of them screwin around. They had some great stuff, too bad they got rid of the archives... Even had the pepsi commercial w/ the truck on hydraulics(They did the work) so was kinda cool as well as a bunch of trucks on bags and just overall crazy crap.

Re: Video

My truck is so much faster than those videos. I'm not kidding when I say my truck dumps like it's falling off a cliff.

Re: Video

Jimmy any way you can get a video cause those weren't really "fast" bags? Jimmy can you hop the truck?

Re: Video

If my tank is full and the truck is dumped, with nobody in the truck I do think the front wheels come up. I wouldn't call it a "hop", but it's fast. It's only if the tank is full though (7 gallons @160psi). Also, my valves are mounted about 3 feet from the bag they control, so the lines are also full.

When the back is done, I would bet you could hop it when it's empty. It scared me enough the first time that I called and ordered the adjusters minutes after.

I am using the Blitzluft valves, if that helps at all. Also, my whole setup from tank to bag is 1/2.

Re: Video

Another question for you jimmy. What engine do you have? Also do you have a 1 piece or a 2 piece driveshaft? I was looking into the Early Classic Crossmember and it looks sweet, but I am not looking forward to cutting the rivets out. Thanks for all the help. OO One more, where did you get all your fittings?

Re: Video

I have a mild 350 out of a '75 (that I was told was out of an early Camaro prior to rebuilding). It's a 2 peice drive line and my fittings are mostly Alkon. I have a compression tee fitting on the tank and 2 plastic tee unions. My hose routing is a bit different than others, but it's what worked for me.

I got my swivel 90's for the bags and the straight fittings for the valves off ebay from Koolcads. They shipped them wicked fast and the price was incredible. I got all my brass nipples at Ace Hardware and the rest I got from Suicide Doors.

If I was going to do it over again, I would have gotten everything from Suicide Doors and would have ran 3/8th. The smaller size would be easier to route and would be a lot more managable.
