Re: WTB Trailing Arms
Not to mess up the sale but just to inform, I didn't think there was a difference between SWB and LWB trailing arms. I do know there is a difference between 1/2T and 3/4T arms but not SWB or LWB.

Re: WTB Trailing Arms
bob, thanks for the info.
that brings up another question though. my truck was a 3/4 ton, but the PO converted it to 1/2 ton and did disk brakes up front and 5 lug wheels all the way around. I have no idea what he used for a doner truck, but how can i tell for sure that he converted to 1/2 ton trailing arms? |

Re: WTB Trailing Arms
I sure you could get a pair down here when you get to come down.

Re: WTB Trailing Arms
From what I understand 3/4 & 1/2 ton trailing arms are the same with exception given to reinforcing the 3/4 ton units.
Can we get some 3/4 ton owners to post some pictures?

Re: WTB Trailing Arms
I believe ECE sells(as probably do other board vendors) reinforcement kits. Look at their catalog to see what they look like. Basically they are a piece of 1/8th(approx) plate spot welded along the top and bottom of the arms. They are about 15" long and are at the back of the arms. It looks like they add strength by tying the 2 halves together.
Hope this helps - Bob

Re: WTB Trailing Arms
I have a c-20 and has the support flatstock tacked on the top and bottom at the spring area. If anyone has a good set I need them also and I will take either 1/2 or 3/4t. Thanks.
