Pictures of Old Yeller
Little update on Old Yeller. Since I bought it last year I've been working on it on and off when I could and it's almost ready to get on the road again. I pulled the old 16.5x8.25 steel slot wheels and rotted tires off(will probably junk 'em) and bought two 16.5x9.75 steel wheels with 50% tread 33x12.50's for $40, I already had two so all four are on it now. I also pulled the gas tank, cleaned it up and installed new rubber hoses on the pickup and return lines. I plan on changing the oil and filter soon on the 454, and putting a couple gallons of gas with STA-BIL in the tank. All I need for it now is new brake hoses, get an ignition key cut, and the correct 4x4 auto trans. linkage and it'll be ready to go for a test run down the street and off road. These pictures were taken a couple days ago at my Great Uncle's house where it's been sitting since I bought it.
