another is it worth it Thread.
Wow well there are alot of these s"should i buy" threads on the forum today so i will through mine in the ring. I was hunting on Cl and found a 85 2wd silverado (c10) for 700.00. Now i have been looking and working on these kind of trucks for a while but would not consider myself and expert. The truck looks okay in the photos and is an NE truck so it does have rust. The rust looks confinded to the doors. It has 109k on it and Is running strong and passed inspection. Here is the part i am currious about... It is a 6.2 desile truck. I love desile motors but have no experanice with the 6.2. Plus i hear they are DOGS! but that does not bother me as i am looking for more of a driver not a hotrod. what do you think? Pics will fallow tomarrow.
Thanks for all the help

Re: another is it worth it Thread.
Sounds like a fair deal to me and 109k isn't alot for a desile engine if it's been maintained well but you know how pic's are they can be deceiving and rust has the same effect too.
If any thing else buy it and flip it and make a few bux on it if you dont like it. But the only down side to it is the price of desile is higher than regular gas |

Re: another is it worth it Thread.
When I was looking for my truck, I found one that was interesting, but ultimately passed on it.
A 1986 Chevy C30. 44000 original miles. Mild Body Restoration 1-Ton, 4x4, 454, Long Bed, 4-Speed, Two-tone tan/white exterior, Power rear glass, Factory AC, Bedliner/Cover, Tan interior Overall a beautiful truck, guy was asking 16900 for it if I remember. A bit high but definitely a rarely optioned truck, the thing was in show-ready condition.
