86 c10- 3" drop spindle/brake line?
Finally got the front end back together. One thing I noticed, that the brake line coming out of the caliper is"tight" against the spindle, underneath where the upper ball joint shaft comes through the spindle.
It is against the spindle...Thought about getting some new stainless brake lines. I can get some pics tomorrow, after work... Any thoughts? I am a little concerned... thx all |

i thought about doing that, maybe I will tomorrow. If I break it, then ya I'll get the new brake lines. If not, good to go.

Just bend it a little,... it will be fine. I like to put a "line wrench", (flare nut wrench) around the tube and tweak it enough to keep from rubbing.

Re: 86 c10- 3" drop spindle/brake line?
I had to bend mine a little to get them to clear on my 2.5" spindles. They were brand new, and a real hassle to replace, so I was hesitant. It went fine, though.
