? On Window/Lock Switches

Been having trouble with my drivers side window. Sometimes it will go up & down, sometimes it want. Pulled the door panel today and found a wire broken off and just touching the switch. It was a blue and black wire I think. Anyway, I can't figure out how to reattach the wire. Looks like the wire has a small push type clip on the end that it pulled out of, but I couldn't pull the clip out to reattach it. My question then is, how do you reattach that wire, or, how can I replace the switch? I don't see how it comes apart for removal, or how the wires disconnect from the switch. Hope I'm asking this clear enough for you to understand what I'm talking about. Mucho grassy-ass for any help.

Re: ? On Window/Lock Switches

um let me get this stright it has a connector and one wire came out of that conector and you cant seem to get the connector off the window motor.

If this is corect there should be a clip holding it one to the motor and to put the wire back in the plastic clip there should be a tiny metal tab on the wires end. It should be up so when the wire is pushed in it clips in to place.

(and just for help if you ever what to remove a wire from a plastic clip take a very this flat head and find the side the tab is on and push it down so the wire can be removed, It what i had to do with my chevelle ac system cause on of the clips broke in it)

The wire I'm talking about goes to the switch, not the motor. There are about four wires connected to the switch. One of them came loose from the switch making it inoperable. I've either got to replace the switch or figure out a way to get that wire reattached to the switch. I can't figure out how the wires are attached to the switch. The wire looks like it was crimped to a very small spade type connector and just pulled loose. I tried pulling the connector out using needle nose pliers so that I could maybe reconnect the wire, but it didn't work. Once again, the question is how do you disconnect the wire (s) from the switch (the little chrome buttons on the door panel)?

There should be a harness that pulls off the switch. Some harnesses have a small round plastic clip on it that needs to screw off before you pull your harness off the switch. Hope this helps. I'd suggest taking off the door panel and save yourself the hassle.
