Re: Lets sEEEEEE those swEEt six thrEEE'S
This particular picture does not really do this truck any justice at all.
Looks to me like it was taken at the Super Chevy Show in San Antonio last September. This is one Gorgeous truck. That Cameo parked next to Jesse's was real sharp too. I was at this Show with my 59 Elky and was parked directly behind Jesse. He won a killer arward at that show. He also just finished the truck days before. nice guy. My son wants that color on the 64 short/wide I just acquired. Next time I see him, I gotta ask him what color it is. The Detail inside and out is just incredible-----It is NOT a trailered truck. He has driven it to every show that he (and I) have attended. Bryan Last edited by Bryan59EC; 02-11-2007 at 02:42 PM. |

Re: Lets sEEEEEE those swEEt six thrEEE'S
Those are 17's. I have lowered it a few more inches since that pic. The reason for the trailer is that the cruise was about 60 miles away and 3 mpg just doesnt cut it.

Re: Lets sEEEEEE those swEEt six thrEEE'S
No problem...I had a set on a juiced 65 one time that cracked @ the stock spring location....It had a very mild hydro set-up too. Actually an old man owned the truck, and just dumped it in the weeds at shows.
Anyway....boxing would be good, as well as new ones. Let me know how high the lock-up is in the rear. I plan to run my bags way 'up-stream' too. Looking good man John

You mean me?
That's just a stock, '63-issue stock truck column with a Deluxe truck steering wheel. Nothing too special. Glad you like it, though. |

Re: Lets sEEEEEE those swEEt six thrEEE'S
Ok Folks, Here's a few more shots. I just ordered all of the goodies to install Power Steering, Drop Spindles, Drop Coils and Power Disc Brakes. I bought most of my parts from Early Classics. I'll post pictures as my work progresses. As information, I completed a frame off resto on this truck in 1992. I couldn't afford all the driveability upgrades at the time. I spent considerable bucks building a 400 horsepower small block and buying NOS body parts. Take a peak.
