Hello from another new guy
Just bought my first real truck last week. It's going to be sitting at my brother's house in Texas until the weather gets nice up here in Cleveland. I've been reading alot of posts from everyone. Sounds like I've found a great bunch of guys with a ton of info.

Re: Hello from another new guy
I forgot to add that is has original paint. It should clean up pretty good. I just need to get the glue off from were the vinyl top was and buff it out. Oh yeah, my brother in Texas has a '71 Jimmy in the same color. My other brother out in Phoenix has a '71 Blazer and a '69 Chevelle SS396 conv.

Re: Hello from another new guy
No wood, and that's one of the areas I haven't decided what to do with. Wood, spray on liner (Rhino), repaint or ?

Re: Hello from another new guy
Thanks for the big welcome. Hopefully my brothers should be joining in soon. I got the word out to them.
My plan is to keep this truck as original looking as I can, while making it perform like a sports car. With the resources and knowledge here from you guys, I can see my dream has been made more attainable and maybe a little more inexpensive. I don't want it to look OVERHAULED, I just want to get interviewed by Dennis Gage. Keep up having fun. No matter what it cost. You don't know what might happen tomorrow.
