Changing Floor out
Guys,
I need to replace the rusted out floor, rockers, cab corners, and floor supports on my 66 and have run into a small problem. How do I support the cab to keep everything straight while I cut out all this metal? I plan on removing the cab from the frame, but I'm afraid the whole thing will twist, and after I replace all the metal nothing will fit right. I'm looking for any kind of suggestions as I am ready to remove the cab. |

Re: Changing Floor out
The best way would to weld supports across door openings and across the cab, but I would make sure the doors line up before you do it, it probably has already moved around some with alot of rot.
