Aftermarket 67/68 front clip??? Hood, fenders, inner fenders, Rad Sup, Grill, bumper...the whole enchilada out of GoodMark or Tri-plus aftermart parts??? The 67/68 front clip is pretty popular and just wondering if anyone has done a complete aftermarket install???
Pics??? Comments??? How did it all line up???? Problems???? Thanks.

I just did a complete 70 with good mark, hood ,fenders, bumper, wheelwells, coresupport. It did not line up at all,7/16 gap on both sides of the hood. finally got it after a week of work. just need to paint it.

Re: Tri_plus 67/68 front clip??? Has anyone doen a complete...
So after messing with it all the results were good or satisfactory?
The reason I am asking is my 71' has Tri-plus fenders, hood, GM new grill, Orig. Rad support, Orig Radio delete cowl, Tri-Plus bumper...and it is a mess at this point as far as gaps are considered. My body guy says no biggie he can have it all perfect in a day. But man...I thought the alignment all really sucked! Just really curious about 67/68 as that will be the next project after Lil Red is done.

With gaps set, it looks factory. once painted you wont know they are repros.

I took a 67-68 grill to Tri-Pro on Friday. They are going to look into making it or seeing if the tooling is already available. They make just about everything else that you mentioned. In regards to gaps and general fitment, have you ever noticed how many shims are used in a vehicle right off the showrrom floor? Like the body man above said, "No problem". Their stuff looks good and is, in many cases, heavier than the factory sheetmetal. Goodmark and others do not make anything and seldom have exclusives on items. They do buy from varying oversees stamping plants and the quality also varies between those sources. Tri-Pro/Plus products are generally superior but you may not be able to determine the source when buying from a distributor. Buyer beware.

I think Tri-plus and Goodmark are the same.I see Goodmark stuff come out of boxes with Tri-plus stickers on them all the time.If you used all N.O.S. parts and started with no shims as you put it on the alignment would be off also.So shimming and alignment is just a part of body repair. The trend over the last few years in the automotive hobby has been to better fitment smaller and more even gaps. How do you think "Billet Codfish" and "Chump Fish" got famous. They started doing tighter tolerances and better finish ahead of the pack.
