Has anybody used the airbags out of a Lincoln towncar. My dad took his out of his lincoln and put regular springs in. So I thinking free parts. Will they work???

port size is too small, the custom brackets needed would be difficult, strength and durability not suited for our applications. just not cost effective they may be free but bags are not expensive. its the valves, compressors, tanks, and other suspension components needed that are expensive, which you will need anyway so my advise would be to just get the right bags you will be much happier in the end

well put...why would u want ANYTHING ford on a 67-72 anyways??

Even though that is a ford part, I'll bet (having never seen one) it is made by firestone, and not ford.
Small bags are fairly cheap, and if you are looking at fabbing your own kit, go to a shop that caters to semi trucks. We have one here that offers pretty decent prices, and they have small bags that look like a drop in for coil aplications (talkin front coils, I haven't looked at a coil rear in so long I hardly remember what it looks like)
