Re: any better throttle cable set up?

You can use a universal pedal/throttle cable combo, just got me a lokar setup last week, w/ the floor mount eliminator pedal, and cut-to-length stainless cable.

Re: any better throttle cable set up?

Yea lokar is a sweet set up, or go to Kragans Autozone etc and use the Specter universal cable and there throttle bracket. Cheeper then Lokar and works as good. I have used both .

Re: any better throttle cable set up?

I modified a setup from a 77 camaro, welded some nuts to firewall to bolt it to and had to tweak the inside rod some.

Re: any better throttle cable set up?

I took the pedal and cable from a 86 suburban and a throttle cable bracket from spectra, worked pretty well. the cable is too long. I would reccomend the universal cable from spectra it can be shortened.
