1 ton dually wheels
I was up at my fathers and we were looking at his wheels on his 75 1 ton dually. I noticed that there is 2 small studs on each wheel. Can some one tell me what these are for? I have added a pic so that you can get a better idea what I'm talking about.

I think it's an aligment stud for the addition of another wheel. Especially if the one in the pic is used on the inside.
Interesting to find out though. |

That was my first thought, but none of the wheels have holes in that location for them to slide into so that pretty much counts out that idea. I thought it might be some kind of stud to hold a hub cap of some sort.

I have a 85 ton duelly with it on it... It is for holding a chrome cover on the wheel. you slip a round bracket on it and then the lug bolts go over that. Then you pop the cover on and it has a place for two screws that screw into the bracket. If I had a camera I could show you but if you need anymore info.. let me know......
