does it matter witch direction the sway bar is mounted

On the rear of a coil spring truck why if at all would it matter if the sway bar was mounted going to the front or rear of the truck as long as the bar is mounted firm on the rear end and to the framewith proper bushings and no bind.
Would this in some way I can not figure effect the operation? If not I have a bar that I want to mount to the rear end and rearward toward the back of the frame.

in all actuality, it wouldnt really matte,r as long as the ends of th bar each cntact somewhere on axle tubes or to a part near them thats attached to axle tubes, closer to the axle tubes then the better off you will be,.

when you go around a turn fast the truck leans and preloades the end of the bar thats in the inside of the turn and twists the entire bar creating even more preload(reisistance) and thats what keeps truck more level and creates the effect of anti sway.

And how Fast68Chevy I have already installed it. I think it is really a vette disguised as a great Chevy truck. IT really handles around the corners. I can not wait to get 17's and better tires on it.
