rochester Electric connector question
Have 85 C10 w/ 305
Rochester Q-Jet has an electric connection that operates a solenoid. Anyone know what this is for and how it is wired? |

That would be the Mixture Control Soleniod. The ECM controls the dwell of the soleniod which leans or richens the idle circuit.
If someone has done a carb swap, you could have an earlier model which would still have the connector in the same area but it controls a vent soleniod only. |
