Re: what do i need?

When I put a 454 in my 66 Suburban, I moved the engine forward slightly so that I could run aftermarket valve covers. At the same time I converted to the 73 & up 'clam shell' type motor mounts. You can leave it in the stock location if you run stock valve covers. For headers I used Hedman 73-87 pickup full length headers.
