Running boardless '50?

I have never liked how the body sits in relation to the rest of the truck, so I was thinking of removing the running boards from my '50 and either body dropping it or bobbing the fenders. The cab to me looks like it is sitting on top the rest of it and is out of place. Any pics of this being done. It would probably resemble a Studebaker p/u

I thought about doing it. You going to have problems keeping the trucks width though because the fenders do alot to keep it uniform down the side. The studs has fenders that blend in nicely to the cab and bed....as where ours stick out...

Yup! That's the only thing I never cared for on the Chevy's.
