Progress pics BB swap.

Here are some pics. I built the engine last weekend but had time today to do somthing about it. The hear stuff is done. The headers are in and connected, the starter is in carb and linkage on. I just need to put the radiator and distributor in and I can fire it on carb cleaner just for kicks. I need to wire in the electric fuel pump and find a BBC POWER STEERING SETUP! Appears they are different and the one I thought would work isnt for a BB either.

Re: Progress pics BB swap.

Alan Grove has everything you need (except for maybe the pump) for your BB power steering needs. I got ALL my brackets from them...SUPER happy with 'em!

Re: Progress pics BB swap.

is that a fresh motor? flat tappet cam? do not fire it on carb clean! follow the cam instructions and let it run at 2000 up for 20 min or what ever the manufacturer says! flat cam will ensue! if it is a roller, disregard this

Yep freshly rebuilt engine, roller HO GM crate cam. None of the topside pics came out becasue my camera sucks. I'll swing by the shop today and take a few more, hopefully better pics. I'd like to go in right now but I'm waiting for a call so I can go take my motorcycle liscence test.
