Cab to low driveshaft hits??
I bagged my 82 and when I dump the air out the the drive shaft hits the rear of the cab,it hits right at the very end of travel, is this normal. Do I have to put a channel in the rear of the cab for that, like I did for the gastank crossmember?

Re: Cab to low driveshaft hits??
if it hits, i'd notch the cab.
by the sounds of it, you might be able to just take a heavy hammer and force the notch |

Re: Cab to low driveshaft hits??
Your going to have to clearance it some way. I cut 4" out of the back of my cab for clearance. One of my friends had his drive shaft hitting like that and never did anything about, it broke a few months later.

Re: Cab to low driveshaft hits??
you may be able to change the pinion angle to correct it depending on the type of setup you have
