3/4 TON drop spindles
What is the difference between the 3/4 and 1/2 ton spindles(disc brakes)? Is the spindle stub the same? If so, why cant we use 1/2 ton spindles on our 3/4 to get the drop and keep our 8 lugs? Thanks

Re: 3/4 TON drop spindles
ball joints are different and the tie rod end is bigger
if you go to advance auto parts web site you can look up the parts for each one and see what parts are different |

The 3/4 spindle stub is bigger. If you go check on parts, then check the difference in the wheel bearings. HTH,

Re: 3/4 TON drop spindles
I just picked up spindles from ECE, the ball joint and tie rod bosses fit the 3/4, but basically it's a 1/2 ton spindle otherwise. they were 269.00. i got those and a set of 2" dropcoils shipped to WI for about 420.00

Re: 3/4 TON drop spindles
OK now I feel like an idiot. I just posted a new thread on this.SORRY! But I just got off the phone with a gentleman named MIKE at PERFORMANCE ONLINE. The part # for the 3/4 ton spindles is DS7187, he told me to specify C20 They cost $349.10. You will have to use 71-up 3/4 ton ball joints and disc brakes, but there WE go. Those of us that have 3/4 tons can be LOW too.

Re: 3/4 TON drop spindles
Hey, there is a difference between the 1/2 tonne and 3/4 tonne spidles. The shaft is alot bigger on the 3/4 tonne. I was able to find 3" drop spindles made for the 3/4 tonne. I just dropped mine, looks great. Go to chassistech.com, or airbagit.com!
