Gettin this BBQ trailer closer to completion! I am going to help with a business name though. I am building around a 'THEME'. I have concidered the 'BLACK/LIME GREEN' paint scheme for both the truck and BBQ. So anybodies help would be GREATLY appreciated!! Let me know what you think.
BTW the truck will be a 1971 C20 lowered with steelies. May go with wide whites,lime green wheels and black paint on truck.

Say Lance. This will be a super grill when done. Tell me you plan to put in a thick plate between the barrel and the tires to keep some of the heat off them. Man! I can just smell ribs on that bad boy now!

Yeah, I am going to put a plate in between the barrel and the tires. But the barrel is only for smoke and hot air. There will be a firebox on the left rear corner of the barrel. No direct fire--ALL SMOKE!!! LOW AND SLOW- the way BBQ should be! Thinking about puttin '59 Caddy taillights on it, and there will be a heat shield on the back of the barrel amd of polished aluminum diamond plate, cut into the shape of flames. The handles are going to be '8' balls from a pool table. Goin for the 'old hot rod' theme. Should turn out nice!

Chris, I love your wifes truck-ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! Anybody come up with any names for the "Q"? I cant settle on one name. And yes, I would love to be able to bring this to the meet this summer.

Not going to make any tours or competitions this year. I am going to spend alot of time tuning this thing. But I will be doing ribs,chicken,TRI-TIP,brisket,pork tenderloins. So maybe next year I can get into a competition.

Well came up with a name---"SMOKEY BONES BBQ". I researched the name and in cali its not taken, so tomorrow I will go to city hall and reserve the name.
