oo! oh! I have a few questions :D
I just bought this digital dash kit that I have every intention on installing on my truck
http://www.egauges.com/vdo_mult3.asp...r_Blue&Units=E only problem is, speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, and voltmeter...didn't come with any sending units... question, but going from mechanical to digital...what do I use? I'm retarded when it comes to conversions and specialty trinkets...so any that can be rendered, I beg for. thanks all!

Re: oo! oh! I have a few questions :D
Tach gets input signal from the ignition coil, if you have HEI distributor wire the tach to the tab right next to the one labeled "battery".
Fuel has an electric sender in the tank, the one in my '79 puts out higher voltage for full tank and lower for empty one, so really the more gas I have in there the higher input voltage the fuel gage receives. You might be able to reuse yer stock fuel sender, read the new gauge's manual. Voltmeter wires up to a "key-on" power, just find one of them circuits in yer fuse panel and tap into it with one of those add-a-circuit fuse holders. I have my tachometer and shifter lighting powered through the A/C circuit, cause I got no A/C anyways. The only special gadget you'll need will be the mechanical->digital box for the speedometer, which I have no ideas where to get from.
