tire opinions wanted

i got a set of centerline stingrays last year when i had the money before school started and never got around to buying the tires.

The wheels are 20x8 and 20x8.5. i have been looking on tire.com and found some BF Goodrich g-Force T/A's. my first question is if a 295/40/20 tire would fit on a 8.5 inch rim without looking odd? lastly, guys with 20's, what size tires are you running and on what width wheel?

Thanks, ken

Re: tire opinions wanted

I had that exact wheel on my 2005, in a 20x8. I think I had 255/50R20 Goodyear Eagle LS2's on it. That may be a bit taller than you are wanting. Since the Dodge trucks came out with factory 20's a few years ago, the prices on the tires have gotten pretty reasonable, if they are not really low profile or speed rated.
