60-66 ?
Did any of the Chevy trucks from these years have windows without windwings? Thanks in advance for the education. My Chevrolet truck books don't mention this. I've never been a fan of wind wings, but love all of the truck styles from the 40's to 98. Someday maybe I'll be fortunate enough to own 1 from every series.

Re: 60-66 ?
That's what I thought. I wonder what it would take to eliminate them. The glass is flat, so that wouldn't be an issue. I know that the older(60) body styles were different than the newer(66). That would be an issue when you tried to roll up the custom one piece window. I'd be interested to see if it had been done and what mods were done to the internal guts. Thanks for the answer. Re: 60-66 ?
I was working on a one-piece set-up for my 61. There are no "kits" for 60-63 because of the window shape. That's on the back-burner with the rest of the truck now... but I'll post what I come up with when I do.

Re: 60-66 ?
I think the one piece window idea would be cool.
Thats a popular conversion on the early VW Beetles when they 'Cal-look' them. However, I'm a VW fan as well, and I prefer them all original....just sitting on the floor with a big 2-liter engine !! John

Check out this link for the single piece window conversion on the '64-'66 Chevy trucks.

Re: 60-66 ?
Sweet! That's what I was looking for. The PW set up is what I'm using on my 54 build.
