Will any of the new truck 6 bolt patterns fit on a 56 Chev pick up?

Re: Rims
Our old pickups, right up to 1970 have 6 bolt wheels that are 6 X 5.5. Most newer trucks with 6 bolt wheels are also 6 X 5.5, with the exception being the newer Dodge Dakotas.
So the bolt pattern is correct, but some of the 99 and newer Chev wheels have a smaller hole in them and they may not fit over your existing centre hub, but they could be machined. Also the backspacing can be different as the distance from hub to hub is wider on newer trucks and they use backspacing to pull the wheels back in. Is there a set you have in mind? I think the only way to know for sure is to try them. I have heard of some guys using newer Toyota wheels as well.
