Adjust richness on a Q-Jet
Good People,
How do you adjust the richness on a QuadraJet? Is there a screw or do you need new rods, or both? Is there a website with a picture? I'm fuel-system-challenged and need extra help. Thanks.

Q-jets are super sensitive to float settings. Many times you can solve problems on them just by changing the float level. If you look at factory settings they would put the same carb on different sized motors and just move the float. There are many q-jet books out there, buy one it will be worth the bucks. There are a few q-jet websites, but I have yet to find one that has decent pics[one looked real cool but their photo host had crashed.] If you get a q-jet right it is about the best running carb you can put on a sbc, and hands down sounds the best when you mash it to the floor. Good Luck
