O.K. Boys let's see the gauges
I'm in the process of swapping to the Gen III 5.3L and will be going all electric. Give me some ideas on the conversion as it's hard to make my mind up trying to pickem out of a catalog---Killer!

Re: O.K. Boys let's see the gauges
I'm debating on doing the same swap and I think I would run the dakota digital gauges

Re: O.K. Boys let's see the gauges
Not real good pics, but I think they're called Autometer classic chrome. Electric senders, but a more original look.

Re: O.K. Boys let's see the gauges
I have the Covan & Autometer set-up and they work great ( way more accurate than the stock gages )

Re: O.K. Boys let's see the gauges
I'm using the Autometer Phantom gauges in my truck. Here is a pic when I was test fitting the gauges
I initially had the mechanical speedo shown in this pic but I am swapping it out for the electric speedo. The only other mechanical guage is the oil pressure gauge. I'm very pleased with these gauges.

Re: O.K. Boys let's see the gauges
YJ--like the idea of the clock! Do they make a 3 3/8 in a fuel gauge?

Re: O.K. Boys let's see the gauges
Thanks, had to have something for that location and the clock worked for me. Sure is loud when the truck is off but kind of cool to hear the clock ticking. I don't think anything other than the oil pressure gauge was available for that 3 3/8" spot.

Re: O.K. Boys let's see the gauges
I was going to do mine behind the bezel but decided against it because of the double ring when done like that. So mine ended up like this. I have a 3 3/8 oil pressure gauge that is pro comp that is waiting to be used at an later date.

I think this would look great in the center hole. I believe it is the right size.

Re: O.K. Boys let's see the gauges
I'm thinking about doing a 3 hole gauge setup like Gringloco did for my CrewCab. I swapped them around a little though.
