How many made?

A buddy found a 67 swb fleet 4x4, 283, with a automatic. Its supposed to be all original. I have not seen it in person. He wanted me to see how many were made, I told him I didn't think to many with a automatic. Thanks for any help, Randy

Re: How many made?

The red book shows 1046 swb fleet 4x4's. No breakdown on engine or trans.

Re: How many made?

I don't think they offered an automatic in the "Rockwell years". Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: How many made?

I told him I had never seen a 67 with a automatic but I'd check on here to find out for sure. I'll tell him in the morning. Thanks

Re: How many made?

1967 K10 Fleetside 6.5ft--- 1046 made.
No auto trannys in the 4wds until 70 so it's not original.Best thing to do is see what kind of t-case it has.I'd say it probably has a NP 203 swapped in.Maybe a NP 205.Won't have the factory in 67 rockwell t case with the auto tranny though.

Re: How many made?

Weren't there a few three-on-the-tree 4x4's? He would be embarrased if that's what it turned out to be.

I HAD one. I swapped out the 3-speed manual for a th350.

With gas prices heading north that th350 may find itself on the shop floor, replaced by a 700r4.
