Long Rear Leaf Springs
I have the longer 8 leaf 3/4 ton springs on the rear of my truck. I don't do a lot of heavy hauling. Would it be beneficial to my ride and handling, as well as at the drag strip to take some of the leafs out?

Re: Long Rear Leaf Springs
Yep, I have knocked the stack down to 5 or 6 many times. But don't take out the first few leafs directly under the main leaf. I usually start from the bottom & take out every other spring. Make sure to leave in the spring with the "locator" clamps.
