Re: Front's done

you'll want to take that spare tire out from under the rear of the truck. My buddy had that same set up on his 79 and he drug that thing on the ground every time we pulled into a parking lot. Looks good man i like your setup.

Re: Front's done

I used the DJM 3" LCA and DJM shackle and hanger kit. And a Flip kit and Shock extenders. DJM lower shocks, (which Im not sure if Im happy with those) I will be getting a C-notch some time real soon. Some companys out there say that its not needed. Im thinking it is after I think I lost a tooth filling going over the R&R tracks the other day. And also due to the age of my ride. I will be replacing the leaf spring bushings aswell.

Re: Front's done

How did you slam it with rallys, i heard they rub the inside of the rims....

i actually want mine to sit EXACTLY like yours... i live about 2 minutes away from DJM, if you dont mind can you list everything you got to make it sit like that?... and also what size tire your using, i also have the 15x 8 rallys..

Re: Front's done

75shortysocal, the 8" rallys rub when you use 3" spindles, my experience. He used lower control arms and springs.

hmmmm

just using the DJM lca's and springs could get me 4 or 5 inch drop? while still actually having a suspension, and not dragging the lca's?

also not using the DJM spindle will completely cancel out the rim rub? and not using the DJM spindle, wil that effect the performance at all, or do the lca's and springs do the same thing the DJM spindle would do?....

Re: Front's done

Thats right NO "rub" at all. But over this past weekend I did notice the upper ball joint. I need to take a pic for concern.
