67 stepside/new furnace?
I came across a 67 shortbox stepside this weekend in my travels. It looked like someone had just pulled it out of the barn,dusty but in very good cond.I left a note as to being for sale or not (don't know).Now,if it is for sale I'll have to buy it! Now for my question-what's more important-the truck or a new furnace for the garage? just looking for angles to give the warden-excuse me-"little mrs" reasons to buy just 1 more!

You can always dress for the cold. It still beets working on your 67 (hopefully to be) out doors.

Tough call!!! I would but the truck. I have owned my 72 for almost 5 years now and have done all the work on it outside because of a loack of garage. Heat?? we don't need no stinking heat!!!
Hey ProTrucks, long time no see. Have any recent pics of that sweet flatbed of yours??? How bout a group photo of your collection??

Hey sbrban If you go to your local Heating and Air contractors and tell them your looking for a furnace for your garage they my give you and old one they tore out of someone’s house. It may not be high efficiency but usually they are FREE. That’s how I got mine. Usually they just put then in there dumpster. It helps to offer beer for the unit. This way when they tear it out they will use a little more care while doing it. GOOD LUCK

Use the truck as a furnace!!! Run a hose from the exhaust outside, then run the truck to warm the garage. This way, you never are "working on the truck", your working on the furnace.
"You see honey, I care a lot more about you than the truck. I am going out to work on the "furnace" so you stay warmer. " Try this line, see how much your life will be improved. Approach and terminology is EVERYTHING!! True diplomatic wrangling at it's best. Just rephrase and your problems are all solved! :p
