PC Seals?
I have a set of 87 crate motor heads, 1.94 intake valves. The springs are still on the valves so I cant see the seals. What I need to know is if these heads had factory PC seals, or just the o ring type with umbrella's? If they dont have the PC seals, do they have to be machined before they fit? These are the 72 degree center intake bolt angle heads, with center bolt valve covers...

PATCH ---- I'VE GOT A SET ON THE MOTOR I JUST REBUILT. 87 SWIRL PORT, VORTEC HEADS, 1.94 - 1.50 & THEY WERE MACHINED FOR P.C. SEALS BUT I'M NOT SURE THAT THEY WEREN'T REWORKED ONCE BEFORE I GOT THEM. I'M SURE YOUR GOING TO WANT TO PULL THE VALVES & CHECK EM OUT ANYWAY, AS LONG AS THEY'RE OFF THE MOTOR. I HAD MY VALVES & SEATS REGROUND & MACHINED FOR SCREW IN STUDS & GUIDE PLATES AS LONG AS IT WAS GOING TO THE MACHINE SHOP.
