Duraprene pan gasket?

Duraprene pan gasket?

What exactly is a Duraprene transmission pan gasket?

Is this a fiber or rubber material?

All I can find is people talking about how great they are but not exactly what they are.

Re: Duraprene pan gasket?

Googling that term brings up lots of links to a company that makes rubber gloves for medical use. I'm guessing it is made of rubber.
