Clutch fork installation
I just rebuilt my Saginaw 3speed (behind a 250 in a '72 C-10 longbed, if that matters). While tearing it down, I discovered that the little clip that holds the clutch fork on its ball was broken. I ordered a replacement from LMC (gotta love $8 shipping for a $2 part). When I went to install the clutch fork, I broke the replacement, in exactly the same place.
So, I'm sure I'm putting it on wrong. Just how are these supposed to go together? |
