question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I pulled my dash to start my autometer install.
here is a pic it is fussy but it is a light bulb with a black wire that goes into the column not sure what it is?

I see makes sense, thanks. I wonder how I will work this with my autometer cluster?

Should be able to tap into your lighting on one of the autometer guages..
