The camaro would be a 5 lug and you want to put it in a 3/4 ton (8 lug)? I dont know your truck but the camaro has leaf springs so if your truck has coils you would have to modify it to work in your truck.

Re: 1969 chevy 3/4 ton rear end
I spoke to the seller today and he told me that it is coil also, i don't plan to carry heavy things on the truck, i want it for my daily driver my question its do you think it will fit?.
there both are coil Abouth 3 months (before i know the differential was damage) i ask to a truck owner how to change from 8 lug to 5 lug wheels and he suggested me to install a 1969 camaro rear end, know that i finally found it my question its. Do i have to make any special modification? does the weight of the truck would affect the performance? I also planed to lowered by cutting on the coils, i really appreciate if any one cant helP with this questions? Thank you for taking the time to review my thread Fer.

Re: 1969 chevy 3/4 ton rear end
If your truck has rear coil springs instead of leaf springs, I would look for a 1971 -1972 chevy C10 rear end. It would be a direct bolt in (assuming that the 1/2 ton and the 3/4 ton rear coil setup is the same) and has the five lug axles. Also, the camaro rearend will have a 5 on 4 3/4" bolt pattern, not the 5 on 5" that these trucks had from 1971 to 1987.
