What is the best way

Hey Roomies I got a question!
I just bought a High energy polyy kit for my Blazer whats the best way to go about installing it? Also What is the best way to untack those welds on the bolts so I can get new ones?

Re: What is the best way

It is best to do one side at a time. I used a cutoff wheel and carefully ground the tack weld off of each bolt. A few of the bolts I had to grind the complete head of the bolt off and punch it through the floor to remove it. I also had to use a v-chisel on my air hammer to cut one of the metal sleeve on the passenger side bolt near where you feet go.

Use a jack or two to lift one side of the vehicle and get the old rubber out and put the new poly mounts in place. I believe I have heard you should put a little lub on the poly mounts to cut down on squeeks.
