65 parts truck

A guy I know wants to see if there is anything worth keeping on this truck before he scraps it. I told him I'd post some picks to see if anyone wanted anything from it. He thinks it is a 65, and to be honest, I don't know enough about them to say one way or the other. It looks like the radio hole was modified some, otherwise the dash looks ok. The body is pretty much shot. The rear bumper looks ok, if it's bent, it's not much. Grill looks ok. The drivetrain is there, inline 6.

Anyway, take a look at the pictures, and if there is something you want, make an offer and I'll talk to the owner about it what's worth keeping.

The bumper is sold now, Sorry. I took a look and it was twisted a little, like someone tried to tow with a hook on the bottom passenger side.

Whats left that I think is good is the engine, transmission & glove box door.

I was able to talk to the owner today about this. He said that if he can get the wheel off without too much trouble, he'll sell it. It has some cracks and the paint is faded or worn. I'll be able to let you know for sure next weekend and have a picture available.

All thats left of this truck right now is the firewall and dash. The owner wants the steering column from it. No lights or bed parts, chassis, etc is left. It went to the scrap yard.

This is the one and only time I listed something for another person and probably the last time. He's a bit of a scatter brain and hasn't done what he said he would about pulling the parts. Some of you have waited a long time and all I can say is I'm sorry. This is not how I usually work. Normally I would not list anything that wasn't ready to go. But now that it's here, I will do my best to at least get these few parts from him and get them sold.
