Fuel Tanks....Again...What are the options?
I know this has been covered before but I am getting close to putting my frame back together and the brakes and gas tank are the next steps.
So, what aftermarket options do I have to put the tank in the frame? I have heard the Blazer tank hangs too low for the stepside. I plan to have a marine filler in the bed floor at this point. If you have pictures of your setup please post so I can see them. I really appreciate you guys helping on this one.

I thought about doing this with my truck. My boat has an inboard 18 gallon tank that would be about the right size to go between the frame and the drive shaft without causing any problems, look around for a junk Glastron boat, mines a 72 17 1/2 foot Viking by Glastron......I really think the tank would work well.......if I ever junk the boat, that's what I'm gonna do with it. Of course brackets and straps would have to be fabricated, but I like doing that kind of thing anyways.

I havnt heard that about the blazer tanks, but check out almost any of the advertisers on the homepage here. Alomost all of them have tanks for under the bed. Brothers sells a nice one with all the hardware with baffles in SS or aluminum.
